About the Blog

Hello to anyone who has the pleasure/displeasure of stumbling upon this blog. I am completely new to this so please bear with me as I learn how to use this platform properly. I decided to create this blog as a way to share things about my life that people typically don't get to see. A few months ago, I decided to delete and deactivate every single one of my social media accounts. I realized it was causing me more harm than good, and I came to the conclusion that I'd be better off without it. I now have been living happily and comfortably these past couple of months free from it all, and I couldn't be more grateful for that.

I'm creating this blog to have a space where I can post and share things that happen in my life to keep people in the loop. One of the blessings with social media is it's a great way to see what people are up to. And now that I no longer have that, it's become hard to share things with each and every one of my friends and family members. So, having this blog is a great way to get rid of that issue and be able to comfortably share all the things related to me.

"What should I expect from this blog?"
Great question! Here are a few examples of things I plan on posting about.
-Life updates and stories of my random adventures.
-Pictures of my art that I have created and feel proud enough of and want to share.
-Sewing projects because I have let my, "to make list," get way too long.
-Short stories or essays written by yours truly.
-Reviews on books, movies, and anything else I feel the need to talk about.
-Confessionals from the heart and soul. (This is rare, need to catch me on a good day for one of these.)
And even more random weird things!

To be truthful, I can't tell you exactly what to expect from this blog. I can see myself changing ideas on the direction I want to take this weekly. So honestly, just bear with it and enjoy the experience of my mind and all the many thoughts that reside in it. I just hope this page is motivation enough for me to get on top of all the many things I need/want to work on. Thank you for being here and enjoy The Ash Collections
